Hello, I am Eugene! I recently graduated from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. My academic journey has ignited a keen interest in mechatronics, robotics, and manufacturing. Yet, my greatest enthusiasm lies in product development, where I leverage a variety of skills and software to innovate and create practical solutions.
Throughout my years in school, I was able to learn and utilize many different skills and software that I wouldn't have been offered anywhere else. From coding, circuit design, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) to prototyping, simulation, and manufacturing, I was able to tackle a wide range of tasks from various courses that tested my abilities as an engineer. I've enrolled in numerous classes that not only captured my attention but also broadened my skill set, leading to the successful completion of projects I take great pride in. (Please take a look if you have the chance!)
My journey also includes a commitment to education. I began as a freelance tutor in high school, where I mentored more than ten students in science and math. Later, I joined RoboFun, where I introduced children to STEM concepts using various software tools. This passion for education led me to become a math and science mentor at Grace Church High School, where I assisted students daily with their academic needs.
Outside of engineering, I love to engage in physical activities. Volleyball and basketball are my choices during favorable weather, while rock climbing and weightlifting are my go-to options when conditions are less ideal.
